This 10-inch wide poly tubing is constructed from 1.5 mil low-density polyethylene film and supplied on a 2,900-foot roll. The open-ended tube format lets operators cut bags to any required length on demand, eliminating the need to stock multiple pre-sized bag formats. Bag fabrication is completed by heat sealing both ends with an impulse sealer after product insertion.
The film meets FDA and USDA requirements for direct food contact, making it a practical choice for food processors, produce packers, and specialty food distributors alongside general industrial and e-commerce fulfillment applications. At 1.5 mil, the material delivers a balance of flexibility and puncture resistance well suited to lightweight and medium-weight products in distribution, manufacturing, and retail packaging environments.
Each roll weighs approximately 36.76 lbs. The 2,900-foot length reduces changeover frequency in moderate-to-high-volume lines. Impulse sealers are sold separately and are required to complete bag fabrication. The roll ships via parcel carrier.
