The 12" Wide Seal Impulse Sealer is built around a full 12-inch sealing bar that produces broad, consistent bonds across the entire opening of polyethylene and polypropylene bags, including both single-layer and co-extruded film constructions. The wide-seal format sets it apart from standard narrow-bar sealers, delivering a more secure closure on larger or heavier bag openings.
Impulse-style operation activates the heating element only during the sealing cycle itself, eliminating warm-up time and reducing idle energy consumption. This makes the unit practical for high-turnover packaging stations in warehouse, fulfillment, retail bagging, and light manufacturing environments where downtime between seals needs to stay minimal.
The unit weighs 10.14 lbs and ships via parcel carrier as a single-unit order. A service kit sold separately includes two replacement heating elements and two PTFE glass cloth tape strips to support routine maintenance and sustained uptime.
