16 1/2 x 16 1/2 x 40" Telescoping Outer Boxes

This 16 1/2 x 16 1/2 x 40 inch telescoping outer box is the upper half of a two-piece adjustable corrugated set. It slides over a separate inner box to create a height-adjustable shipping configuration, eliminating the need for void fill to compensate for excess depth. The full overlap (FOL) bottom construction reinforces the base panels, adding stacking integrity that standard RSC bottoms do not provide.

Telescoping box sets are well suited for tall or irregularly dimensioned products that do not fit standard fixed-depth cartons. Common applications include apparel on hangers, rolled textiles, framed artwork, architectural hardware, and industrial components with extended profiles. Built from ECT-32 kraft corrugated board, each outer carton weighs approximately 2.8 lbs. The matching inner box (T161640INNER) is sold separately and must be ordered to complete each set. Outer boxes are sold in bundles of 10.
