8 x 8 x 48" Telescoping Inner Boxes

This telescoping inner box is the sliding component of a two-piece adjustable-length shipping system, designed for tall and elongated products that fixed-depth cartons cannot fit. Interior dimensions measure 8 x 8 x 48 inches, and the box slides into a matching outer carton to create a custom-depth shipping unit without custom tooling.

The full overlap (FOL) bottom distributes base load more evenly than a standard slotted configuration, making this inner box a practical choice for heavier elongated items — such as curtain rods, display fixtures, fluorescent tubes, sporting equipment, and architectural trim pieces — across retail, manufacturing, and industrial distribution environments.

Built from ECT-32 kraft corrugated single wall board. Each bundle contains 20 inner boxes at approximately 1.353 lbs. One inner and one outer box are required to complete each telescoping set; the outer box (T8848OUTER) is sold separately.
