8 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 48" Telescoping Outer Boxes

This 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 48 inch outer sleeve is one half of a two-piece telescoping box system built from ECT-32 single wall kraft corrugated board. The outer carton slides over the inner box to accommodate varying heights of long or awkwardly dimensioned items, eliminating the need to stock multiple fixed-height box sizes. A full overlap (FOL) bottom distributes load across the base for added structural integrity during transit and stacking.

Telescoping box systems are well suited for shipping rolled goods, athletic equipment, flags, banners, lighting fixtures, industrial tubing, and architectural materials — anywhere a standard RSC box would require excessive void fill or fall short on length. E-commerce fulfillment centers, manufacturers, and distributors handling elongated SKUs rely on this format to right-size packaging without custom tooling.

Constructed from ECT-32 kraft corrugated, this outer sleeve is sold in bundles of 20 and ships via parcel carrier. The inner box (T8848INNER) is sold separately and is required to complete the shippable set.
