3M Strapping Tape 8898 is a 4.6 mil blue polypropylene film tape with a synthetic rubber adhesive that bonds firmly to cardboard, metal, plastic, and other common surfaces. The filament-free construction keeps the profile clean and low-profile for bundling and coil tabbing without bulk.
The stiff polypropylene backing resists breaking and tearing even when nicked or punctured during transit, making it reliable for securing parts, sub-assemblies, and components in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution environments. The 1/2-inch width is compatible with standard handheld dispensers designed for narrow poly strapping tape.
Each case contains 72 rolls and ships via parcel carrier. The narrow format suits high-cycle production lines and fulfillment operations where consistent, repeatable tabbing and bundling are required.
