3M Strapping Tape 8898 is a filament-free, 4.6 mil stiff blue polypropylene film tape with a synthetic rubber adhesive that bonds firmly to a broad set of surfaces without requiring reinforcing strands. Its resistance to breaking or tearing — even when nicked or punctured — sets it apart from standard packaging tapes used in comparable bundling roles.
