ShockWatch® 2 Indicators at 50G sensitivity are bi-directional, vertical-response impact detection devices that activate visibly upon detecting a shock event meeting or exceeding the 50G threshold. Removing the adhesive liner arms the device; a confirmed impact turns the indicator bright red, providing unambiguous, on-package evidence of mishandling during transit or storage.
These indicators are used across electronics manufacturing, medical device distribution, aerospace component shipping, and high-value freight fulfillment — any environment where proof of rough handling determines liability or triggers inspection protocols. The visible red activation prompts recipients to document damage claims before accepting a shipment.
Each indicator measures 1-2/3" x 1-2/3" and carries a unique serial number supporting tamper-proof chain-of-custody documentation. An optional 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" companion label and ShockWatch® Alert Tape are each sold separately to increase handler visibility. This case contains 50 indicators and ships via parcel carrier.
